Foster Willey Jr. maintains his studio in North East Minneapolis. He has studied sculpture at several institutions through out the midwest, including the Naguib School of Sculpture in Chicago, IL. Willey currently teaches figurative sculpture and bronze casting at the new Minnetonka Center for the Arts in Wayzata, MN.
